Complete one of
the questions below. Candidates may bring support (practice) drawings with them
to the exam to assist them with the final piece. Suggested materials: shading
pencils, colour pencils, eraser, ruler and sharpener.

Make a detailed drawing
of a fruit from two different viewpoints.
Turn the fruit to find new ways of seeing
it and record what you find in pencil and colouring pencils.
Make sure you
show the mixture of textures and colours. Remember to look closely at the space
between each negative area of the form.

Draw and shade an
enlarged section of a manmade object within the 4”x4” inch square. Include
dark, middle and light tones using a shading pencil.
