This Policy covers all three Sections of Wesgreen International
School
INTENT
The intent of this policy is to give clear guidelines to students on their punctuality in
attending school and the consequences of daily late arrivals.
POLICY
- Every student should be punctual for the start of the school day. Line-up is at 7.45am
every morning.
- Students arriving between 7.45am and 7.55am will be allowed to enter the school via the
side entrances to join their form group, but will be marked late on their register. The
side gates will be locked at 7.55am sharp.
- Students arriving after 7.55am must enter the School through reception, where they will
need to sign the late arrivals book. They will then be permitted to enter the building to
attend their classes.
- Three late arrivals in one week by any student will result in a break-time detention.
Failure to attend an break-time detention will result in a Saturday morning detention.
- The main school gates will be locked at 8.15am and any student arriving after that time
will not be permitted to enter the school campus and they should return home.
