Grade 11 and 12 Mock Examinations
March / April 2006

Attached to this letter is your copy of the Mock Examination timetable. Please ensure that you are at the examination room at least ten minutes before the allotted time of the examination.

Late arrivals will not be given extra time and may be in danger of not being allowed in the examination.

If you have a mobile phone it must be handed to the invigilator before you take your seat in the examination. The phone must be switched off.

Any extra equipment must be either in a clear pencil case, or simply placed on the desk. Bags and other holders will not be allowed near the desks.

The days when you are not scheduled to sit an examination will be study days for you. If you wish to see a teacher who would have been teaching you on those days, then you must contact the school for an appointment. Anyone arriving without an appointment will not be allowed to see their teacher. You must be wearing full school uniform when you come into school, both for an appointment and for the examinations. Anyone not wearing school uniform will not be allowed to take an examination.

Study Leave for all Grades 11 and 12 students will be from end of day 22 nd March until the beginning of your examinations. With the exception of students in the Girls Section studying Business Studies, Accounts and Economics; you may be called in for extra classes on 25 th, 26 th and 27 th of March 2006.

Although in these Mock Examinations there will be no examinations scheduled for Fridays, you should be aware that when the external examinations begin, there may be times when you are required to attend on a Friday.

 Important Dates:

• April 9 th - 1 st paper review
  
• April 10 th - 2 nd paper review (If the Prophet’s birthday is declared on the 10 th; then the 2 nd paper review will be moved to 11 th April)
  
• April 18 th - Parent Teacher Meeting–3:30–5pm on your campus in the School Library
  
• April 19 th - Study Leave for Grades 11 and 12
  
• April 19 th (evening) - 7 – 9 pm; Girls Farewell in the Primary Conference Hall
  
• April 19 th (evening) - 7 – 9 pm; Boys Farewell in the Boys Gymnasium
  
• June 8 th - Honors Ceremony with family. More information forthcoming.
