Office of the Headmaster

1 st March, 2007

Grade 11, 12, and 13 Students,

I would expect all students to make the most of the time that remains prior to your mock examinations. You must thoroughly review all of your work for the ENTIRE syllabus for your upcoming Mock Examination.

Attached you will find the Mock Examination Schedule which will start as indicated. Do note the time table is in keeping with the actual time table that you will receive from the external examination body in May /June 2007.

You will also notice that there are some days when you do not have examinations. These days are Study Days, when you do not have to come into school, but can spend your time revising at home . I expect you to use that time well to make sure you are well prepared for your next examination. Remember, these days ARE NOT holidays! If you would like to come to school on one of your Study Days to talk over a problem with your teacher do wear your full school uniform and telephone the school to make an appointment.

Remember school starts at the normal time 7:45am and you would have to wait in the Examination Hall until the end of the exam. Those students that have only a second / third session must report to school at least thirty minutes before the scheduled time. Late comers will not be given any extra time and every student as stated earlier must report on time.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you success in the examinations and urge you to work very hard and use the remaining time wisely. Do remember, the most valuable result of a sound education is the ability to make something of yourself, there is no substitute for hardwork and no shortcuts to success.

Sincerely,

J. Calafato
