Dear Wesgreen Community,

The 2 nd Parent Teacher Meeting of the Academic Year 2007-2008, is scheduled to be held on Thursday March 27 th, 2008 from 8:30am to 2:00pm sharp, as stated in the Academic Calendar.

We at Wesgreen understand that there is nothing more important than preparing a child for the challenges of the future and support the positive interaction between school and home, encouraging parents to participate in the education process. For this reason, this Parent Teacher Meeting will be scheduled over the course of a school day to maximize the time for you to meet with some of your child's teachers. This will also give you an opportunity to review the work your child has completed thus far, to go through your child’s copy books, work completed for extra classes if your child is attending any, our marking system, tests, display boards done up by the students and various extra curricular activities that are seen as an integral part of every child’s all round education.

However, because of time constraints we request every parent to limit their meeting to not more than five minutes. If any Parent would like to meet with a teacher privately at any other time rather than the scheduled meeting, please do call the receptionist of your child's building for an appointment.

If you feel at this time any particular subject is not posing any problems, you may then decide not to see that particular teacher. For those parents that have more than one child at the school: all primary students may accompany you to each building, those parents having a child in either of the Secondary Sections, it is mandatory that after you see your child's teacher – you may leave that child at the section and they may stay on the playing field or in the Reception Area until you have finished with the other Secondary Section. Do remember that Senior Students will not be permitted to visit either of the other Secondary Sections.

Special Notes:

  • No Classes will be conducted in all three sections. Rather students must attend with a parent for the meeting.
  • Your child must accompany you in Full School Uniform.
  • To ease the number of Parents in the Primary Section at any given time it is requested that you indicate the session you would like to attend on the slip attached.
    • Session 1 - 8:30am - 10:00am
    • Session 2 - 10:15am - 12:00 noon
    • Session 3 - 12:15pm - 2:00pm
  • If you would like to meet with me please be advised that I will be randomly visiting all three buildings during the Parent Teacher Meeting Hours, otherwise I will be available in my office located in the Primary Section.
  • If you would like to meet with the Deputy Head/s they would be available in their respective sections.
