Office of the Headmaster                                                    5 th November, 2007

Dear Wesgreen Students,

I would expect all students to make the most of the time that remains prior to examinations. You must review your journals, homework, textbooks, any quizzes and tests that you have had thus far. This should be a time to show yourself and your family exactly what you are capable of.

Attached you will find The Mid Year Examination Schedule which will start as indicated. This year the list of revision topics will only be given to students of Grades 2 – 4. The revision topics for students from Grade 5 onwards will be posted on the school website, and can be found under the section, “Students Corner”. Should it be required, a hard copy can be obtained from the Receptionists of the secondary schools.

Do note the dates from which No New Topics will be introduced for specific grades. However, teachers will conduct tests during these dates as a mode of revision for the topics done.

Do notice that there are some days when you do not have examinations. These days are Study Days, when you do not have to come into school, but can spend your time revising at home . I expect you to use that time well to make sure you are well prepared for your next examination. Remember, these days ARE NOT HOLIDAYS ! If you would like to come to school on one of your Study Days to talk over a problem with your teacher do wear your full school uniform and telephone the school to make an appointment.

Do note:

  • School starts at the normal time 7:45am sharp.
  • Primary Section will dismiss all students from Nursery to Grade 4 at – 12:15 noon.
  • Secondary Section Students can leave once they finish their exams if they are using their own transport.
  • School Buses will leave All Three Sections at 12:15pm and 2:30pm – for those that have a later exam.
  • Students who only have a second/third session must report to school at least thirty minutes before the scheduled time.
  • Any students arriving late after an exam begins will not be given any additional time.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you success in the examinations and urge you to use the remaining time wisely.

Sincerely,

J. Calafato
