The school is divided into three separate units throughout which a British Curriculum is taught;
|
The Nursery welcomes children from two and half years old |
|
The Primary Section accommodates KG1, KG2 and Grades 1-4 |
|
The Boys and Girls Secondary Schools cater for Grades 5 to 13 |
The Greenbelt Nursery introduces children to the world of education through the medium of play and lays the foundations for acquiring fundamental skills in literacy and numeracy.
In the Primary Section the highly successful British Literacy and Numeracy Projects ensure that our children are given the best possible start in the fundamentals. We also introduce studies in Science, Information Technology, Art, Music, Geography and Physical education.
In grades 7, 8 and 9 pupils follow the key stage 3 courses of the British Curriculum. In grades 10 and 11, all students are taught English, Mathmatics and ICT as IGCSE courses. The secondary schools also offer a wide range of IGCSE and O level options.
AS and A levels are offered in Grades 12 and 13 in the above subjects and can include others according to student demand.
The school has a strong department throughout all phases teaching Arabic, Islamic Studies and Social studies, with programmes for Arabs and Non-Arabs. Students from other backgrounds are encouraged to learn some Arabic as well. Urdu lessons are available to native Urdu speakers. Alternative courses to Islamic Studies are provided for non-muslims. |
