Charity Drive
We had "Charity Drive" the last two week of Ramadan.
Helper's society students made poster about charity and asked the Wesgreen students to bring new clothes, toys bags and shoes to give them to the poor children.
When the students brought all these things we sorted them out in Ms. Halima's room , we put the new clothes in very nice bags, then we glued sticker on the bag to write if it is for a boy or a girl and how old he or she is ( we collected 82 bags), we put the used clothes in boxes. We collected Dhs 800.00 we put 15 Dhs in each envelope. |

On Thursday 19 th of October before Eid we took the bags and the envelops, and we went to very poor area.
Mrs Mansouri went with us.
The people there are very poor, we went to the houses knocking at the doors or gave the children in the streets, some of them were in the school, we gave their gifts to their parents.
It was so hot and tiring, we felt sad but it was great to give something to make the others happy.

حملة الخير

في الأسبوعين الأخيرين من شهر رمضان
قمنا بحملة الخير , حيث قام طلاب خدمة المجتمع بعمل
ملصقات تتعلق بعمل الخير وقاموا بحث طلاب مدرسة ويس جرين
على إحضار الملابس والألعاب والحقائب الجديدة لإعطائها
للأطفال الفقراء.
وعندما أحضر الطلاب هذه الأشياء قمنا
بتصنيفها في غرفة السيدة حليمة فوضعنا الملابس الجديدة في
حقائب جميلة ووضعنا عليها ملصقات وكتبنا عليها إذا كانت
الحقيبة لولد أو لبنت وعمر الطفل وكان عدد ما جمعناه من
حقائب 82 حقيبة, أما الملابس المستعملة فوضعناها في صناديق
كبيرة. كما جمعنا 800 درهم وضعنا 15 درهم في كل ظرف.

يوم الخميس 19 أكتوبر وقبل العيد
أخذنا الحقائب والظروف وذهبنا إلى منطقة فقيرة وقد ذهبت
السيدة المنصوري معنا.
الناس في تلك المنطقة فقراء جدا,
قمنا بدق الأبواب أو إعطاء الهدايا للأطفال في الشوارع
وبعض الأطفال كانوا في المدارس فأعطينا هداياهم إلى
والديهم. كان الجو حارا ومتعبا, شعرنا بالحزن لكن بالفخر
أننا قمنا بإعطاء شيئا يجعل الآخرين سعداء. |
