 INTENT

The intent of this policy is to outline clearly the expectations the school has of student’s work and presentation.

 POLICY

The following must be adhered to for all work completed at Wesgreen.

  • All work must be, in your own handwriting, original, in your own words, legible and neat.
  • From Grade 5 upwards, all work is to be completed using blue or black pen, unless the work involves drawing or other diagrams.
  • All work should have the date, and where relevant, your name, clearly written and underlined.
  • Mistakes should be neatly crossed out with the correct word or phrase written above or in the margin.
  • Correcting fluid should not be used on any work.
  • Only when specified by the curriculum can work be done and saved on computer, for example in IT classes. The work may then be submitted either by electronic mail or on disc.
  • In cases where work has been produced on computer, that work should be pasted into copy books as soon as possible, or kept in an appropriate ring binder, which should be made available to your teacher whenever requested.
  • Work required by examination boards for external examination coursework will be the responsibility of individual students. No printing of such work will be allowed in school.
