ART AND DESIGN
REFERENCE BOOKS/ MATERIALS: Internet, history of art and graphic books, photography etc.
OBJECTIVES: Pupils will draw, paint and/or sculpt a series of observed studies with reference to similar work by varied artists. They will be expected to make informed aesthetic decisions based upon their analysis and research into good practice.
- Coursework. A2 observational drawings of man-made and natural objects
- Colour theory and artist references
- Sketchbook work (visual thoughts and annotation)on going

- Textiles /printing/ sculpture

- Coursework. Observation, product designing & advertisement or textiles
- Introduction to textile artists, graphic designers, impressionists
